“Berlin is one of the many multicultural cities that I know”, says Andréa Huguenin Botelho. The Brazilian pianist, conductor and music teacher finds the perfect environment for her bicultural projects in the German capital.

Andréa Huguenin Botelho, from Rio de Janeiro, has been helping to put Brazilian music on the Berlin map. Maestra, she is at the head of two choirs, in addition to inaugurating a program entirely dedicated to Brazilian music at the City West public music school.

The year 2016 also marks the dissemination of Brazilian culture in the German capital, with the inauguration of a special program for learning Brazilian music at the City West public music school, under the direction of maestra Andréa Huguenin Botelho._cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

While many Brazilians ignore our cultural richness, many outsiders know how to value it. And now, German public school students will have the right to study our music.

Maestra Andréa Huguenin Botelho, a Brazilian based in Germany, will be in Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo on August 2nd, presenting a concert with students from the International Laboratory of Conducting and Orchestral Practice.

Maestra Andrea Huguenin Botelho begins the celebrations of the 198 years of Araraquara (SP) on Saturday (1st), at 8 pm,  with the opening concert of the II International Laboratory of Conducting and Orchestral Practice, at Teatro Municipal Prefeito Clodoaldo Medina.
